Maybe you have tried therapy before and it didn't seem to help heal those deeply ingrained parts of yourself. You want deep, authentic healing. Hi! I’m Maddie, I enjoy working with children (2 and up), teens, young adults, and families with a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns. Together we will explore the brain/ body connection, ways of connecting with yourself and others, self/ co-regulation, and empowering you with the wisdom and tools already within you! I primarily use relational, trauma informed, mindfulness, and experiential approaches. I emphasize the power and importance of play at a neurobiolocial level for child therapy.

In a warm, non-judgemental, authentic, and humorous style I work with my people to heal. I urge you to reach out for support and come as you are. The journey to this point has likely been filled with uncertainty, frustration, and a longing for things to be different. Even if you aren't sure whether it is the right decision to start I would love to discuss.

Some days we may make art, go for a walk, play, make a sand tray, or more in session!

I am committed to providing culturally informed services that promote equity and social justice. I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ rights, racial justice, and protecting the rights of other marginalized groups. I have experience working with transgender individuals and individuals struggling with gender identity.

In 2023, I started Tide Pool Counseling PLLC and have enjoyed seeing it’s growth and where we will go!
